I am sitting on my day after a pretty good day listening to a song that gets me everytime... Clocks by Coldplay.

I know many of you probably think Coldplay is lame...sure you are entitled to your opinion...but I love this song! It makes me smile...the music and the lyrics both...it's just one of those songs that gives me a tingling feeling...and I love it...so then i wonder...

Why the hell can't i create something like that?! I have always thought of myself as an artist >although not a great one by any means...more like a dreamer...who DREAMS of being an artist<. I have always longed to create something that makes me or others tingle. I've always wanted to make something that triggers that 'inspiration' part of the brain. Having that part of your brain activated is almost like being on another level or demension...

But I believe to be able to trigger that 'inspiration' area is to be able to dig deep and just put the truth out there regardless of what others think or what they may say. Truth is the most inspiring...and the most intimidating. So I just want to say I admire all the artists out there who put the truth out in the open. I admire you who will write a straight forward poem that is just the butt-naked truth. I admire you who can compose beautiful music that is the truth to the ear...and those who have the talent to capture truth through a lense. And mostly...I admire you out there...who can write a book...and have the truth splashed all over it...in the words and between the lines...

...you all are my heros!
